Reservations are highly encouraged for our outlets and can be made by calling us directly at 412-648-8213 or by submitting a Restaurant Reservation Form online. We are also able to accept University Interdepartmental Charge Accounts (IDC), Panther Funds, and Lunch money for lunches and dinners at any of our outlets.

The visual crown jewel of The University Club, the Rooftop Terrace offers a true urban oasis to its members in a setting unparalleled by any other. Offering sweeping views of several Oakland landmarks, highlighted by the imposing Cathedral of Learning, the Terrace offers a carefree dining experience that will have you and your guests coming back for more. There is simply no better place in Oakland to gather with friends and colleagues during the warmer months.
The Rooftop Terrace will be open on days when it is at least 65 degrees outside, and the chance of rain is less than 20%. The decision to be open or closed will be at the discretion of our Food and Beverage management team, who will make that decision each day by 2 p.m. for Dinner/Bar service. A sign will be posted in our main lobby showing the daily status of the Rooftop Terrace. As always, any dining reservations made for the Terrace will automatically have a corresponding indoor reservation in case of inclement weather.
